ABOUT THE BIG RIP

The Big Rip Classic was started by a group of local disc golfers known as Spin Crazy. Spin Crazy had a long history of traveling to play in regional tournaments and occasionally hosting their own events. In 2016 the inaugural Big Rip Classic was held at Little Black Creek Campground & Park near Purvis, MS with Michel Munn as the Tournament Director. Over the next several years Michel, Spin Crazy, and a long list of local supporters and sponsors helped grow the event into one of the largest attended and biggest payout tournaments in all of the Southeast.

Our goal is to provide a unique player experience for everyone to enjoy with a competitive tournament environment, camping, players party, live music, firework show, and more. While our primary focus is player driven, we also work diligently to promote our sponsors and partnered brands in a professional way.
